Assistant Director Air Traffic Control (ATC)


This is one of the most sought after jobs of CAA. It is an excellent job with great learning and perks. Also, the nature of the job is highly sensitive and responsible. It's in shifts and requires continuous focus and dedication. ATC officers are responsible for helping aircraft land and navigate through the airspace. There are three types of ATCs. Following is the latest pattern for this job:


This is the new syllabus issued in 2018. Earlier it was different. Pls, go through this in detail. It has a number of parts and sub-parts. SBP stands for short business proposal.

Qualification

Qualification required for this position is Bachelors in engineering (any technology) or BS in Phy/Math/CS/aviation management from HEC recognized university with at least 2nd division.

Age limit is 28 years. A 5 years general age relaxation is allowed.

Salary & Training

Basic salary is 42,630/- PKR and gross is about 127,000/- PKR and training of about 9 months. A bond of 25 Lac is also to be signed between candidate and CAA for serving CAA for a minimum of 5-7 years after training.

Browse through these papers and try to solve them.


Remember that the competition for this particular position is always high even though the number of seats is usually 32. Study well and expect merit to staying above 74-75 marks.
