SUPARCO Test

SUPARCO screening tests are of MCQ type and consist of 50 questions and the time limit is 60 minutes. +2 marks for each correct answer and -0.25 marks for each wrong. Thus, there is negative marking. The test is held at the same center inside SUPARCO office for the city the post is for.

SUPARCO Psychometry/Psychological

This is called the personality profiling and psychological test by SUPARCO. It takes about 2.5 hours to complete. It is administered in steps. The invigilator hands out the papers and collects them before starting the next part. Following is the sequence of activities:

 1. Filling of the biodata form. It is a two-sided detailed biodata form. 

   2.  Mental Ability Test (MAT): 70 MCQ with 5 options each within 30 minutes. Easy and bit tricky questions regarding shapes, series, directions, simple math, and so on. 

   3.  Sentence Completion (Urdu): 26 in number within 5 minutes. The first few words of a sentence are given. You have to complete the sentence. 

   4.  Sentence Completion (English): 26 in number within 5 minutes. 

   5.  Sentence Completion (English): 26 in number within 5 minutes. 

   6.  Story writing: 2 stories, 3 minutes for each. The first two sentences are given and you have to complete a story continuing with those. 

   7. Words Association Test (WAT): 50 words, 10 seconds each. Words are displayed by the examiner using flashcards. Each word is flashed for 10 seconds. You have to write a meaningful sentence using that word or anything associated with that word. E.g. if the examiner displays the word ROSE. You can write a sentence using the word, rose, garden, red, and so on. 

Word of advice: Develop coherence between ur answers. They may test this by asking the same question in two different ways. E.g. question 5 may be that do you feel comfortable in front of others or not and question 23 maybe that do you like to dance at weddings with your friends. You have to ensure all such questions have the same answers.

Interview

SUPARCO interview panel consists of 7-8 individuals and may include officers in uniform. The interview is 80% technical while a few general knowledge or personal liking questions may be asked. They stick to their field in technical questions. It is not tense. They may also ask about your final year project if you are an engineer.

Interview results are declared within 15-20 days. Only the selected get security clearance forms through post. No calls or emails are placed.
