Job Details

The Government of Pakistan has announced more than 900 jobs in the Ministry of Defense. A job in this ministry is very prestige as it is an important organization of the nation. All of these are permanent jobs in the federal government. These are advertised almost every year.

It is important to realize that the process is lengthy and the competition is extremely high. A few of these jobs are generic and anybody with 16 years of education can apply. Some are specific and require a particular degree.

Be careful in deciding what post you apply for. Take the time to study and prepare well. It will not be easy.

Job Advertisement

Following is the advertisement in Urdu and English:

 


NTS has been given the contract to conduct the screening test. The process is as follows:

1. Download the application form for the post based on its BS scale from https://nts.org.pk/Test&Products/Announced/0919/MoD_Sep2019/MoD.php.
2. Read the form carefully. It has many pages and careful details which you need to enter.
3. Select the center. It cannot be changed later on. Fill in all of the pages.
4. The last page is the challan. Pay the challan. The fee varies for each post. 
• For BS-17, it is 400 PKR. 
• For BS 11-16, it is 275 PKR. 
• For BS-6-9, it is 250 PKR. 
• For all others, it is 50 PKR only.
5. Pay the challan. Save your copy. Attach all other documents as mentioned in the checklist on the last page of the form.
6. Complete the form, attach all required docs, and the original NTS copy of challan form and send it to NTS on the address mentioned on the last page of the form

Two main important points:

1. There is no fee if you are a disabled individual.
2. If you are applying ofr posts of BS-16 or below, you can apply for two posts using one fee challan. You will be required to fill two forms and attach them together. Send both forms in one envelope to NTS with the single challan.

For the Assistant Director post at serial No. 1, anyone with the education of 16 years or may apply. These include engineers, doctors, lawyers, computer science, and so on.

The last date to apply is 30th Sept. 2019. Do not wait for the last date. Download the form today and fill it out and send it at the earliest using Pakistan Post.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process includes the following steps for BS-17 posts:

1. Screening test of 100 MCQs of 120 minutes.
2. Descriptive test of 50 marks essay writing and 50 marks current affairs. 50% of marks are needed to pass.
3. Psychometric Test: 30 mins and 100 MCQs. These include 50 maths and 50 analytical questions. Other components are similar to ISSB psychological test such as word association test. For details, click here.
