Introduction to FPSC Hiring Process

FPSC is responsible for recruitment in federal organizations such as FIA, MoD, Establishment Division, ministries, and so on. In the first week of each month, FPSC announces jobs on its website. You can check for the latest jobs on http://fpsc.gov.pk/jobs/gr/current-jobs.

The process includes:

1. Downloading the Challan form from http://fpsc.gov.pk/sites/default/files/Challan%20form-21-05-2014.pdf and filling it up. The fee is 300 and is to be deposited at any National Bank Branch. Keep both copies safe with you and take the FPSC copy with you on the test day. That is important.
2. Once that is done, come back online and complete the process by opening http://online.fpsc.gov.pk/fpsc/gr/step1.php.
3. Fill all the required details and upload the required documents. 
4. You will receive an email and SMS from FPSC after you are done.

Pls, be careful when filling in the details as the application cannot be edited once submitted.

The process of issuing roll number slip takes 2-3 months. The slip is made available at http://fpsc.gov.pk/exams/gr/admission-certificates once it is announced. The test is usually held in batches across the nation.

After the test, don't panic. The result takes 5-6 months in almost every case. There is no point asking others on Facebook and other forums. Keep checking http://fpsc.gov.pk/results/gr/documents-required for the result. It will be uploaded here.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to send in documents via mail to FPSC headquarters. After that, interviews are held 1-2 months later. The interview schedule is also announced on FPSC website at http://fpsc.gov.pk/exams/gr/interview-program. After that, the commission makes recommendations to the respective department. The recommendation lists are available at http://fpsc.gov.pk/results/gr/recommendations.
